Am I allowed to bring a (photo)camera to the event?

Almost all artists include in their contract that the audience is to be informed that taking (professional) pictures or filming is not allowed. However, non-professional equipment like mobile phones or simple digital camera's (no seperate lenses) are usually allowed. A GoPro camera usually isn't allowed.
