The initiative of event promoters and others in the cultural sector to issue a voucher (credits) to ticketholders in case of cancellation or reschedulement of the event, is supported by the ministry of economic affairs and the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).
There are currently very few tickets sold for upcoming events. This way promoters quickly run out of resources. By applying for a voucher instead of a refund, you will help every link in the live entertainment industry to survive and you can use your credit to go to another event on another moment.
Legally, however, you remain entitled to a (financial) refund. We would like to ask you to consider this choice carefully, and only request it if you really don't see any option to go to the rescheduled event, or if you really won’t be able to use a voucher. In that case you can request a refund for your tickets via this contact form.
Please note, in accordance with the conditions of the new regulation, it may take considerably longer before you receive your money back:
- In case of a rescheduled event no later than one month after the new event date
- In the event of a cancelled event no later than 3 months after the event was originally scheduled to take place
